Course Overview

The goal of this training course is to introduce the job seekers with European best practices of job search, job interviews, employment market competition and work ethics for speedy career growth. Attendees will learn how to create a winning CV that will pass the pre-screening, an attention-grabbing cover letter and, finally, learn how to present themselves with confidence during the job interview. The course places a particular emphasis on self-presentation skills: how to present oneself articulately, with confidence and purpose. A practical workshop on the job interview process is included and will provide all attendees with a unique opportunity to receive interview feedback in real-time.

At the completion of the training program all learners will have a prepared copy of a winning resume, cover letter and additional take-home material for their use in the future.

  1. CV preparation best practices. What are the attributes of a winner CV and cover letter that will pass the HR pre-screening.
  2. Successful interview techniques – interview questions, interview preparation. What to say and what to not say during the interview?
  3. Work ethics for quick career growth. What are the best employers looking for?
  4. How is Western/European work ethics different?
  5. Competition for best jobs – reasons why expats are hired and how to secure the most beneficial jobs.
  6. Practical workshop – 10-minute interview with the trainer. Analysis of interview performance.
  7. Practical homework assignments on preparation of the CV and cover letter followed by the CV strength-weaknesses breakdown individually with the trainer.
